Shri Shivaji College of Agril-Biotechnology Library independently established in the main building of the college on 01/01/2009. Previously it was in the campus of Shri Shivaji Agriculture College Central Library building. At present area of two rooms size 6x6 metre have been provided for the library, and two sections i.e. one reading room for the students and one stack room for the books have been maintained.

The objectives of Shri Shivaji College of Agril-Biotechnology Library are to provide information on instructional Programme of the college and help in teaching curriculum, with internet facilities to students and teachers, by making collections development in the form of textbooks, reference, books, journals, CD Rom and other relevant documents. And disseminate effectively and efficiently to make the awareness of knowledge in the area of Biotechnology in general and Agricultural Biotechnology in particular.

Our library has installed e-Granthalaya software for computerization of Library work. This software is free of cost, developed by the National Information Center (NIC) New Delhi.

At present all major library work is computerized for example On Line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC to know information about collection available), Document Delivery Service (That is record of document circulation to student and staff), Accession of Books of library collection, record of journals etc. (at the same time we also maintain manual record of this services)
